I'm Ellie – a Product Design Strategist & CPA based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a foundation in public accounting and a deep curiosity for systems thinking.
I bring analytical precision and creative vision to the products I design. My process is grounded in research and driven by clarity – mapping how people, processes, and technology connect to form cohesive, scalable experiences.
Whether I'm reimagining an internal platform, designing automation tools, or guiding a product strategy, I focus on aligning user needs with business intent to create lasting impact.
My background gives me an unusual vantage point: I think about product problems the way an auditor thinks about process risk – where does this break, what's missing, and what has to be true for this to actually work?

01 – Where I began
Big Four Accounting
I started at KPMG, where I learned to analyze complex financial systems and translate them into actionable insights. Working across fintech, transportation, and professional sports clients, I developed the foundational instincts I bring to every product engagement today – process documentation, internal controls, and communicating complex findings to executives.
02 – The Pivot
UX Design & Product Consulting
Curiosity about how people interact with systems led me to UX design. After General Assembly's immersive program, I joined Fuzzy Math – a UX design consultancy – where my work expanded into product strategy, AI-assisted workflow design, and cross-functional discovery. Over four years, I learned to operate at the intersection of design, strategy, and business transformation.

Product Strategy & Operations
I'm focused on bringing both halves of my background together – the analytical rigor of accounting and the human-centered insincts of design – in product strategy and operations roles. Available for full-time positions and contract engagements.

The Pup
Romeo is my puppy and honestly one of my braver but better decisions. He's a whirling dervish of fun and keeps me on my toes.
The Hunt
Rummaging through thrift stores for hidden gems is a favorite pastime of mine. Finding something unexpected in an unlikely place never gets old.
Puzzles
Losing track of time with a good puzzle – whether that be sudoku, Wordle, or jigsaw. The structured chaos of it — knowing there's an answer, not knowing where it is — is genuinely one of my favorite things.
Art & Design
Creating has always been a constant for me. What began with paint on canvas has more recently grown into digital illustration, print design, and the occasional work that doesn't always fit neatly into a single category.
